Blogs on Behavioral Journeys

When my daughter turned 3, I was taken by surprise by some sudden changes. Her quiet, observant nature was becoming mixed with random outbursts, and physical responses - to what? we did not know. Discipline (as I knew it from being a child) was not working and seemed to be causing additional behavioral challenges. It wasn't long before the whole situation picked up speed and my family and preschool life took some new turns. My daughter is turning 6 next month and I want to share some of my past experiences, as well as current ones, with all the other moms out there who may be seeing this happen with their child. I also want to share some of the techniques and tips I've compiled from various therapists along the way. I am blessed that I have had health insurance to pay for many of the fees and sessions, and I want to make this available to other moms who may not be as fortunate - or who just may not have found the right solutions. I hope you will join me in this journey and share your own insights along the way!

Please note that all the tips provided here are not intended to be medical or psychological advice, although they have been collected from numerous practitioners that our family has received treatments from. You should consider the use of the tips based on your own judgment and/or the judgment of your physicians.
